Three men drink regularly in The Jolly Quizmaster, named Mr Brown, Mr Green and Mister Black. They often occupy the next table to our team when we are in the pub, as both groups like the quiet tables at the back.
Last week they had walked to the pub wearing jackets as the weather was a little chilly. One wore a brown jacket, one wore a green jacket and the other wore a black jacket.
We overheard Mr Black say "Isn't it odd. Not one of the three of us is wearing the colour jacket that matches our name".
And the man who had a green jacket replied "You are absolutely correct - how strange".
