Square and Cube Quiz Puzzle Answer

This week's puzzle is another that is quite easy to state, but much more difficult to actually answer correctly.

Which is the smallest integer that is a square of one number and the cube of another number?

That's all there is to it, but I'm sure that we'll get a few incorrect answers.

The obvious answer, if you give the puzzle some thought, is 64 - which is two to the power six; which is eight squared (two to the power three squared) and four cubed (two to the power two cubed).

And this would be correct if we restrict ourselves to positive integers. However . . .

Minus one squared is one, and one cubed is one!
