In a story that you simply couldn’t make up, seven trainee priests were refused entry to the City Arms in Cardiff. The doorman told them that stag parties and groups in fancy dress were not allowed in.
Eventually the Manager realised what was going on and let them in. In recompense he gave them a free round of drinks.
A lovely question arises from all this: what wonderfully appropriate beer was served to the priests in their free round?
