One of our colleagues went into town this morning with £10 in her purse, and she returned with £20.
She had bought some second hand books at the bookshop and some flowers from the flower seller in the market.
She had also visited the dentist for a check up - all clear we understand, so good news!
She gets paid on Fridays, and the local bank is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - a complete branch closure is looking very likely.
The dentists opens every weekday.
Thursday is early closing day and there is no market on a Friday.
